Lucky Fish Pompano
One of our recently completed tension structure projects is THE LUCKY FISH an outside beach bar and grill. The owners want to ensure their patrons can enjoy outside dining while remaining comfortable and relaxed in the shade on the beach. They also wanted to grow their new customer base by utilizing shade structures that are functional as well as attention grabbing.The Thompson Team designed and installed two shade sail systems , one in the front over a raised area originally designed for live entertainment is currently being used as additional outdoor covered seating to accommodate today's challenges. The second covered outdoor seating is located at the rear.

The tension sail structures are made of steel columns and painted with marine epoxy. We chose this paint as it is easily maintained in this salt air environment. The fabric used was a shade cloth that filters the sun.
