While we do not endorse any specific charities, whenever we come across one of particular interest we must share. As always, we suggest you research and learn as much as possible about the organization you choose to support.

The Camaraderie Foundation is a non-profit organization seeking to help heal the invisible wounds of war (PTSD) through counseling for all Military Service Members, Veterans, and their Families. A successful transition from the battlefield into society is integral to the future sccess of soldiers returning to home and thier careers- current or future. FRLA supports the efforts of the Camaraderie Foundation.

I was fortunate enough to meet and interview Terri Wallace, pictured above. She informed me that our soldiers are "deployed sometimes 3, 4, even 5 times or more during the past 15 years in this War on Terrorism" and need support immediately. To her, nothing is more satisfying than "being able to provide much needed help to our Service men and women, their spouses, the families, caregivers and loved ones." The Camaraderie Foundation was able to increase 2016 grants for soldiers to attend counseling sessions with the help of additional funding and donations. The 2016-2018 goals approved by their Board of Directors are to Increase counseling support services; Optimize the impact of Camaraderie's programs and projects through evaluation and process; Increase individual, corporate and foundation giving; and Develop and implement a comprehensive communications plan.
